A Meaningful Meeting
Syntychea is an old word, but full of life. It means a chance encounter, which can change something within us through conversation and meaningful exchange. It is the moment when two people truly meet — not just with words, but with presence, attention and authenticity.
In the psychotherapeutic process, Syntyachea is not just a conversation.
It is a safe space, where a person can be heard without criticism, reveal themselves without fear and explore themselves with respect and acceptance. It is the meeting of two people, who create something new: a relationship, which heals.
In my practice, Syntychia symbolizes:
• authentic human contact,
• empathy, which opens paths,
• acceptance, which liberates,
• and the calm presence, which allows a person to find themselves again.
Every meeting is unique. Every story is worth hearing.
And meeting success can become the beginning of a profound inner change.
As a therapist who honors the human-animal bond, I am happy to welcome your pets into my space. I believe in the healing power of companionship, which is why your pets are welcome to accompany you to your sessions. They are an important part of our lives and are welcome to be with you in the healing process.
The image of the encounter between the wooden man and the butterfly captures a delicate, almost sacred moment: the moment when the neutrality of the human skeleton touches the light soul of transformation. The wooden model, timeless and without identity, functions as a universal mirror. It is not someone; it is everyone. Its simplicity allows the viewer to project onto it their own emotions, to recognize their own vulnerability, to stand for a moment naked of roles and stories. In abstraction, this body becomes paradoxically alive, as if breathing with the honesty of “I am as I am.”
Opposite it, the butterfly carries all its symbolic power: the promise of change, the beauty born from dark cocoons, the freedom gained after inner work. It is fragile and at the same time resilient, a reminder that sensitivity is not weakness but a source of strength. Her presence on the little man’s raised hand is like an invitation: to allow ourselves to be transformed.
And between the two, Happiness emerges — the accidental, yet deeply meaningful encounter that can change something within us. As in the therapeutic relationship, here too, the encounter is not just contact. It is space. It is listening. It is the moment when two beings truly meet and create something new: a small, quiet beginning of inner change.
